Wreaths Across America

The Malmstrom Composite Squadron Is Proud to Officially Announce Its Support for Wreaths Across America

Our Cadet and Senior Members will join volunteers and participating locations across the country to Remember, Honor and Teach

Columbia Falls, MAINE, and Great Falls, MONTANA — 25 November 2022 Malmstrom Composite Squadron announced today that it has chosen to support Wreaths Across America participating location, Highland Cemetery, as part of the national organization’s sponsorship program. This is the FIRST year that our squadron will participate in the national program whose mission is to Remember the fallen, Honor those who served, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.

The goal for our squadron is to support efforts that help unify our community and celebrate our freedom by thanking the 2400 veterans laid to rest at the Highland Cemetery with the placement of a live, balsam veteran’s wreath this December.

For each wreath sponsored our group will receive needed funded to support our goals and help our cadets and senior members with training, transportation and readiness.

National Wreaths Across America Day will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022. WAA Day is a free, non-political, community event open to all people.

The cutoff date is Tuesday, November 29th for this years ceremony. Orders placed after this day will be added to the wreath count at the sponsored location for 2023.
